Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Frequently Asked Questions

1. Compatibility & Fit

Q: How do I know if these replacement filters fit my refrigerator?
A: Please check the product page title or description.

2. Installation & Use

Q: How often should I replace my refrigerator water filter?
A: For optimal water quality and taste, we recommend replacing the filter every 6 months or after 300 gallons of water usage (whichever comes first), or sooner if water flow decreases noticeably.

Q: Do I need to flush the filter after installation?
A: Yes. After installing a new filter, dispense and flush approximately 3 to 4 gallons of water (about 5 minutes) through the dispenser. This clears trapped air and any loose carbon fines from the manufacturing process.

Q: How do I reset the water filter indicator light on my Samsung refrigerator?
A: Most Samsung refrigerators require you to press and hold the Filter Reset (or Water / Ice Maker) button for 3 seconds until the indicator light resets or turns off.

3. Filtration & Performance

Q: What does the water filter remove?
A: Our filters use high-grade activated carbon block filtration to effectively reduce chlorine taste, odor, sediment, rust, and common tap water impurities, providing clean, crisp drinking water and ice.

Q: What should I do if water dispenses slowly or drips after replacement?
A: Slow flow is usually caused by air pockets trapped in the water line or a filter that is not turned completely into the locked position. Dispense water continuously for a few minutes to purge air, and ensure the filter is fully rotated until it clicks into the locked position.
